“Mathematics is not just about solving problems, it is about learning to think, to ask questions, and to shape the future.” — John von Neumann
The American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) is a prestigious mathematics competition founded in 1974 on the East Coast of the United States and has gained a great reputation internationally over the years. Held annually at four major universities in the United States — Pennsylvania State University, the University of Iowa, the University of Alabama at Huntsville Campus, and the University of Nevada Western Site (Reno), the competition offers students a unique mathematics experience.
ARML is a competition that emphasizes not only individual achievement but also teamwork. Each team consists of 15 students, and participants work together to solve problems, develop strategic thinking skills, and demonstrate leadership abilities. This competition provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their analytical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Organized in partnership with the American Mathematical Society, ARML is considered one of the world’s most prestigious mathematics competitions. The competition helps students achieve international recognition by supporting both their academic and personal development.
ARML is the perfect platform for those who want to broaden their educational horizons by visiting campuses across the US and meeting top students from around the world. Join this prestigious competition to become one of the leaders of tomorrow!
